A picturesque paradise that lives up to the hype
The birds flocked to Mexico a few weeks ago (with our dear friend, Lauren, of Three Twelve Co.) ready to check out the buzz surrounding Tulum! Our journey through Tulum, Quinta Roo took us through simplistic, beachfront boutique hotels, bustling marketplaces brimming with fresh fruit and hand woven hammocks, and restaurants nestled in forests of lush palm trees, offering up the freshest meals to be enjoyed at tables perched upon sandy floors. We came to the conclusion that the hype is VERY real — Tulum maintains its reputation as a "hidden gem" while boasting restaurants, spas, and hotels that could rival any contending beach destination.
